Water Operations Committee Meeting

Held at the Stinson Beach County Water District Office at 3785 Shoreline Highway Monday, June 12, 2017, at 3:00 p.m.

A. CALL TO ORDER

The presiding officer will call the meeting to order and call the roll of members.

B. PUBLIC EXPRESSION

Audience members will be invited to speak regarding matters not on the agenda; the Board can not act on items brought up at this time. Audience members may also speak regarding matters on the agenda. Speakers may be limited to two minutes each.

C. SETTING OF AGENDA

The committee may revise or adopt the agenda as presented.

D. OPEN SESSION

The Committee will review water-related topics including, but not limited to:

  1. Review the Capital Projects cash flow spreadsheet.
  2. Discuss the status of the Water Meter Replacement program.
  3. Review the next steps for the new well at the Laurel Treatment Plant site (Coastal Development Permit, retaining wall, etc).
  4. Update on water production, demand, and the calculation of lost water.
  5. Review list of miscellaneous Capital projects from the Field Supervisor.
  6. Review the Proposition 84 Grant Reimbursements.
  7. Review the status of the Bids for the Highlands #1Tank Painting and Inspection Project.
  8. Review update of the Water Supply and Demand Management Report.

E. ADJOURNMENT

The Water Operations Committee will consider a motion to adjourn the meeting.

Notice regarding Rights of Appeal: Persons who are dissatisfied with the decisions of the SBCWD Board of Directors have the right to have the decision reviewed by a State Court. The District has adopted Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure which generally limits the time within which the decision may be judicially challenged to 90 days.
